The endless mountain ranges, colourful scenery, wooded slopes, undulating landscape and quaint villages are what make Coorg an instant tourist favourite! Coorg is home to hospitable people, the Coorgi Coffee and the famous Storm Festival - a camp-out music festival that takes place in February, and it could be an exciting time to plan your company visit and synchronise dates and secure tickets beforehand.

  • Mysore is the closest railway station to Coorg and is located approximately 100 kms away. Bangalore is the closest international airport & Mangalore, the closest domestic airport. One can also travel by road from Mysore and Mangalore. The bus journey takes about 4-5 hours. Though getting to Coorg is a bit tough, but once you’re there it will definitely feel worth it!
  • Coorg is the green city and your eyes will always see green no matter when you visit. However, the best time to be in this natural heaven is the summers when the temperature doesn't go any higher than 40° C and winters when the temperature does not fall below 10°C.

Coorg has many scenic stay options. To name a few, Amanvana – is situated on the banks of the River Kaveri or the Capitol Village surrounded by a plantation. Both these provide comfortable accommodation, and luxury amenities.

For a little more adventurous experience, you can book at the Coorg Jungle Camp resort on the backwaters.

Teams work best when they are put in a natural environment. Some friendly rafting competition, or bicycle racing or even a hurdle race will put your group into the perfect mood for group discussions and facilitation. Coorg has many such locations for great outdoor team building exercises.
